London 2005. After the 7/7 bombings.
Sometimes a mountain concerns two hapless old friends from London, David and Roger, whose lives have been made comic by their inability to deal with deep tragedy. It is an inability that leads them on a sad, charming argumentative road trip to Scotland in a clapped out car. On the way, they pick up an Iranian girl called Nana; who, in going to meet her own destiny- leads them to theirs.
