Marvin… what good am I without you?

Synopsis

A jealous old musician in a retirement home in LA, recounts the story of Marvin Gaye and his music to a filmmaker making a documentary about Marvin. Dripping with the sense of his own inadequacy as a musician, like Salieri in Amadeus, he grudgingly tells the story of Marvin’s rise and gloats over his fall. But he cannot hide from his brilliance.
